Act as a Farmer – Operate as an Entrepreneur is a practical, decision-focused course designed for start-up and small-scale farmers, as well as farmers who are already operating, and want to survive, stabilise, and grow without costly mistakes.
This course does not focus on production techniques alone.
It focuses on how to think, decide, and operate under real farming pressure.
Learners are taught how to:
-
Think clearly before spending money
-
Build systems before adding animals or scale
-
Control risk, cash flow, and labour
-
Make disciplined decisions under pressure using proven tools
The programme consists of 4 structured modules, each made up of 6 focused lessons.
Learning is reinforced through applied workbooks, decision-making tools, real-world scenarios, and assessments aligned to practical farming realities.
Understanding and competence are tested through more than 300 multiple-answer assessment questions, designed to ensure learners can apply principles, not just memorise theory.
Certificates are issued only after all modules are completed successfully, ensuring the qualification reflects real effort, understanding, and discipline.
